The game takes place in a completely fictional universe, in no way connected with the real world. In X117, after the Great Shuar War, the country of Vestel begins full-scale research in neural surgery to find a way to create a new person. The "Human 2.0" project envisioned the creation of a person who has the best life characteristics and is capable of self-regeneration of the organism. 

Research, since X118, was carried out in the corporation <DATA NOT FOUND>, however, in X121, the founders of the company <ENCRYPTED> and Victor <DATA REDACTED> could not come to a general direction of research and Victor <DATA REDACTED> left the company, founding a technically advanced plant Neuro.corp in X122. 

Since X122, the corporation has been developing nano-processors and modules called “neuro-implants”, capable of controlling the behavior of the media automatically, or transferring control to the “Master” written in the processor code. 

Between X124 and X126, the first processor tests were carried out, which had positive results. Processors of the brand <DATA NOT FOUND> had great potential both in military craft and in the everyday life of ordinary people. However, Victor had completely different plans for them.

In X126, the processor <DATA NOT FOUND> underwent adjustments that made it possible to increase the power output to the implants, thereby making it possible to improve them and increase their number.
